In a world of instantness, Nefeli Stavrou approaches her work in a slower and more deliberate way. She prefers to create in a hands-on method with printing techniques. Nefeli is a Dutch-Cypriot designer, that works with intuitive minimalistic rules, which she also breaks to create more playful graphic work.
Furthermore, she often explores personal themes of experiences and identity while materialising them into light-hearted zines or autobiographical pieces which give her emotions space to live.
Through her photography she captures timelessness of places she visits and especially the beauty of the island she grew up on, Cyprus.
