Rebirth of Hecate
People around me, including myself, have been feeling powerless towards today’s geopolitical situation. We see the world morphing into something we don’t recognise ourselves in.
Within this photo series I reintroduce Hecate to the modern day. Goddess of the night, the moon, and the dual forces of good and evil. Often an overlooked figure in Greek mythology, Hecate is a female figure deeply connected to the underworld with dead and lost spirits.
While the world is entering a dark tunnel, I imagine Hecate taking care of all the innocent souls that have been lost and giving strength and protection to the living.
